This year the annual Advent Workshop will be held virtually on Sunday, December 13th beginning at 11:00am. There are four crafts: Coffee filter angel, Gumball machine ornament, Sheep ornament and Star ornament. Kits with supplies may be picked up at the church on Saturday, December 12 from 2-3pm.

Click here to sign up for one or for all four and then sign on to Zoom on December 13th when each craft will be explained while you make yours at home! Please take note of the supplies needed at home for you to complete your crafts (ie scissors, glue, etc.) If you have questions about the workshop, please contact Connie Riedy at
VOLUNTEERS NEEDED! December is St. James' month to help staff Betty Lou's Pantry. The pantry dates are December 12th and 19th from 8:00 am to 10:30 am. We are looking for 6 volunteers each day that would be willing to help. Food is heavy, so you must be able to lift multiple boxes or bags.If you are interested, please contact Jason Schlieman via email or cell. (, 610-972-1505)
GIFTS FOR BETTY LOU'S: In years past, St. James has helped put a smile on the faces of the children who are part of Betty Lou's Pantry at Christmas. This year, due to Covid, we are buying Walmart gift cards for the families instead of presents. If you are able to help, please make a check out to Betty Lou's Pantry and mail it to Betty Lou's Pantry, PO Box 85, Coopersburg, PA, 18036 by December 2nd. Make sure to write Christmas in the memo line. We will use Scrip to purchase the cards which will benefit Vision Alive, so you are helping in two ways. If you have any questions, please contact Chris Page at 610-360-2730 or by email at Thanks in advance for your support.

A Message from Pam Page

There are many ways you can give to St. James during this unprecedented time.

We have a link to Vanco Services available on our website. This is the company that handles our Simply Giving.  Simply Giving can be set up for automatic giving for one month, two months or any given period so we can add a stop date if needed. You can give through an ACH payment which will deduct your contribution out of a checking or savings account. You can contact me for more information and to set this up. There is also a giving app, Give+, from Vanco and instructions for that are also on the church website giving page
We also have Pay Pal which allows you to contribute through your own Pay Pal account which would come out of your account or checking account - which ever you have set up with Pay Pal.
Contributions of written checks will always be accepted by mailing them to the church office. Although our activities may be curtailed for a time, our fixed expenses for our ministries, staffing, and building operations continue. Thank you for your continued support!
To contact Pam, send an email to or call (610) 360-0226.
