YES

Children are an important part of our congregational life. Pastor Hart and the worship team would like to help children become involved in our worship services through the YES! program. There are many opportunities for children to assist in worship. Take time to talk about these opportunities, taking note of the ages for each and sign up for those your child/children may be interested in.  Support from adult volunteers will be provided on the Sundays children are scheduled. Of course, parents are welcome to volunteer as well to be scheduled together with their children in various roles.

This is often done on a Saturday morning.  Assist the altar guild in cleaning up the communion ware and other worship items after worship ends. Students interested in more information should discuss this opportunity with Vicky Richter.

SOUND TECH:

Arrive 15 minutes prior to worship, turn on the system and put fresh batteries in all microphones, manage the microphones in use throughout worship.  Training for this is provided. This opportunity is for students in grades 6 and up.

SERVERS:

Students in grades 5 and up are invited to assist the pastor in worship as a server.  Servers light the candles for worship and assist during the offering.  Training is provided.

Worship volunteer schedules for ushers and readers are prepared in advanced and emailed to volunteers a few weeks in advance.

YES! volunteers to be a server or cross bearer are done using sign up genius.
